First are best because they are beginnings...
Today was the first day of my teaching practice at St. John's, and it was filled with a mix of emotions—excitement, nervousness, and anticipation. Stepping into the school at 8:45 am, I felt the weight of the new responsibilities and opportunities that lie ahead. Being assigned to teach 8th B under the guidance of Mrs. Sailaja was reassuring, as her experience and support will be invaluable throughout this journey.
Though I didn’t have any teaching periods today, the meeting arranged by the school gave me a sense of the expectations and the framework within which I’ll be operating. The day’s experiences allowed me to familiarize myself with the school environment and my students, which is crucial for the days to come. As the school day ended, I reflected on the sense of accomplishment I felt—knowing that this is just the beginning of a journey filled with learning, growth, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on my students. I look forward to what tomorrow brings and am eager to step fully into my role as a teacher.
