DAY 6 @ST JOHNS
Today, on the sixth day of my teaching practice, I continued to build rapport with my students in 8.B as I taught the chapter Rosa Parks Sat Still. The students were active and engaged, offering insightful responses that made the lesson both dynamic and interactive. Their enthusiasm reminded me of the importance of making lessons relatable and interesting to maintain their energy and participation.
Later in the day, I witnessed Meekha ma'am's observation of Navya's class, which was an opportunity to learn from another teacher's approach and methodology. The afternoon brought a change in our routine as our workspace was moved from the library to the auditorium, signaling a shift in atmosphere that felt refreshing. Gopika from the Maths department came for my peer evaluation, providing constructive feedback that I found valuable. I also had the chance to observe the classes of Haritha and Gopika, further broadening my understanding of diverse teaching strategies. The day was enriching, offering both teaching and learning experiences that continue to shape my journey as an educator.
