The 2022-24 Batch B.ed students visited Shalom Special School Vattapara, as part of the social visit programme in their curriculum. It was a special experience to all of us , it was so delightful to see the enthusiasm of the students.
Shalom, at its inception was one among the five Special Schools in Kerala. It was started in the Campus of Lourdes Mount Higher Secondary School, Vattappara in the year 1974 by the Kerala Ecumenical Mission Mental Health Centre.
It is a Charitable Institution of Dioceses and Missions and is registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act (XII of 1955) Reg. No.90/70.

English Association presents Quintain -poetry contest
The English association Emrys had conducted an online poetry writing competition as part of Republic day. The program was titled as Azadi and a speciality regarding this competition is that we introduced a new kind of poem named Quintain which is a five lined poem.

The 74th Republic Day at MTTC was a brief and effective programme. Our Principal Dr. K.Y Benedict sir hoisted the national flag. His principals message contained ideas related to Nation's brotherhood and unity.
